I am a collage artist inspired by vintage scientific, medical, and naturalist illustrations, which I reimagine through the unexpected materiality of wallpaper. After beginning as an abstract painter, I became drawn to the precision and etched linework of historical anatomical and natural history imagery. I rip and cut the wallpaper into mosaic-like fragments, using its patterns and domestic associations to create a subtle tension between the familiar and the uncanny.

My work centers on the human figure, as well as birds, animals, and sea life. I’m inspired by the contrast between interior and exterior worlds, and I use collage to reconstruct these archival fragments into contemporary visual narratives.
